As part of our company`s growth strategies incorporating globalization, Sark Bulgaria AD, which began production in 2019 in the industrial zone in Shumen, Bulgaria and is currently operating in a 140,000 square meter facility, completed 2024 with a turnover of €151 million and is anticipated to increase its sales revenue by an estimated 20% in 2025.
Increasing its capital by 66% to 20 million Leva, Sark Bulgaria AD has the goal to double its production capacity with the completion of its new production, auxiliary facilities, and storage areas, as well as the commissioning of its latest machinery and equipment.
Sark Bulgaria AD, the leading copper wire exporter in Bulgaria, exports 90% of its production to Europe, which are used extensively in high-tech industries including data centers, renewable energy, and electric vehicles. Meeting also the increasing demand for products made in Europe, particularly during the escalating global tariff wars, our company is among the top 10 companies in the metal industry in Bulgaria.
As part of our growth strategy in Bulgaria, and therefore, in Europe, Sarmakina A.Ş., one of our group companies which has become a strategic supplier particularly in the machinery manufacturing, electrotechnical and energy industries, will increase its global production capacity, at Sarmakina Bulgaria EAD, via its new production center to be established on a 35,000-square-meter area that the company purchased in the Shumen organized industrial zone.
