In line with our company`s long-term goal of investing in renewable energy power plants with a total installed capacity of 1 GW, an agreement was reached on 10.02.2025 (today) for the acquisition of shares in Aydost Enerji Üretimi Anonim Şirketi, whose primary business activity is the generation and sale of electricity from solar energy. The share transfer agreement was signed on 10.02.2025 (today) for a total consideration of 13,225,000 USD (thirteen million two hundred twenty-five thousand United States Dollars), payable in its Turkish Lira equivalent on the payment date, with the shares being acquired from the sole controlling shareholder, Levent Büküm.
The company, whose solar power plants are located in the Antalya province, owns 11 solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 13,127.40 kWp (13.127 MWp).
Pursuant to Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition, the completion of the acquisition is subject to the approval of the Competition Authority. An application for approval will be submitted to the Competition Authority as soon as possible, and the share transfers will be executed following the Authority`s approval. In the event that the Competition Authority does not grant approval, the share transfer agreement will be annulled. The acquisition process will be finalized upon obtaining approval from the Competition Board. Any significant developments regarding this matter will be disclosed to the public.
